How monstrous that a parent must try to seek solace in making light of a serious problem. How frustrated must that parent be to use comedy to keep themselves from going mad?
How far must a parent go to obtain fairness, not even justice. It would appear that a single voice is not heard by government; the minister for justice clearly thinks that he/she can ignore one voice. But this goes to show that we must all band together;all parents, grandparents, extended families. All those who are prevented from having the ability to co-parent; we were involved in the creation, all we ask is to be involved in the co-parenting now that we are separated from the co-creator. The government is happy to enforce by all means at their disposal, that we are involved in paying money to stop the “parent with care” ( such a ironic term, perhaps emotional jailer might be more appropriate !), from using government benefits, but clearly don’t care about the emotional bubble that will be forming, much like the housing bubble. This will explode, and swamp the already under funded mental health services, proving that as always short term ostrich like behaviour by government. We have only to see what happened financially, when greedy people kept doing nothing and sitting on their hands. The world turned upside down in 2008, and everyone is still suffering. What is happening to the next generation, is we are teaching them that it is ok to emotionally blackmail, lie,cheat, and to isolate themselves from people who care and want to show them a different way.
Perhaps we should band together, and write / petition our MP’s, most of which seem to want to look after themselves first and no-one else second, and change this. ITS WRONG. I can’t be the only person to think this ? Perhaps we should start a “me too” campaign for alienated people and families !
